Positive: - the outdoor space - the country feel - we felt like we were in an authentic Spanish home / village - the kitchen was very well equipped if you like to cook in, as we did - easy parking - host was very responsive

Negative: The second bathroom is in the basement level, which was a bit of a surprise. The pictures and description of the property didn’t accurately represent the layout. It would have been nice if the rules and helpful advice for the property were made available in multiple languages.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay. We visited Santiago de Compostela on one day and A Coruña on the next. It’s a short walk into town

Positive: We stayed in Cada do Campo on the night of the electric outage, as part of the Portuguese to Santiago camino. Our host , Uxio, went above and beyond to make our stay at his accommodation pleasant and to support us getting groceries in as all the shops, restaurants, and hotels had closed because of the electricity outage The accommodation was excellent, very beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and a really spacious back patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ .

Negative: I really couldn't say anything negative about this accommodation or its host.

Positive: This is a great stay for families that want to explore the Camino de Santiago around Santiago de Compostela and Cape Finesterre. We took our parents who are in their 80's but still mobile & were 4 adults. We had a rental car which is a must for this area. We spent 2 nights and that was just enough time to take a day trip to Santiago to visit the sites, and to drive the coast up to Finesterre. The house has recently been redone and it's in great shape, a nice mix of old exterior with modern interior. The owner is from the area and has great ideas for places to visit. We chatted a few times on WhatsApp and he gave us recommendations on beaches, markets and restaurants. There is a local bar a few houses down that sells cafe con leche in the morning and they have local wine for sale by the pitcher that they drink in bowls. The stay here and the surrounding visits were one of the highlights of our trip to Spain.

Positive: While this was just outside of the city center (it felt longer for pilgrims on a long day's walk), it was quite conveniently located. The apartment was actually quite nice and accommodated us very well. Very friendly hosts and easy to work with.

Negative: We didn't love that the beds in the basement were on the floor, but they were still quite comfortable.
