Positive: Iker and Marta are super-duper guests. They are amazingly friendly, very attentive, helpful, and on top of everything. The house is great, extremely clean, and everything is well taken care of. In and outside the house are multiple very nice spots to have breakfast, to sit and relax, hammocks to lie down and read a book or simply rest, places to enjoy the company of friends, as well as the company of the hosts if you so wish. Marta and Iker cater to all your needs, ask you if you need anything, and immediately take care of it, always with a smile. We needed some softer pillows, and they appeared instantly in our room. They have two dogs that are friendly and not messy. If you want, you can pet them; if not, they leave you alone. Breakfast is plenty, very fresh, and prepared when you want it. You can park outside easily, and the surroundings are calm and quiet. This was a 5-star stay, and we will come back. In fac,t some of the people in my group had been there previously and recommended it, and I can say this was an excellent choice.

Positive: Lovingly styled, quality products from the bedding to bathroom amenities and delightful communal spaces both inside and outside. The hosts are absolute gems and the delicious continental breakfast with home made jams, eggs also cooked to your liking just topped off an A Grade stay.

Negative: Nothing. We loved our stay and only wish we had stayed longer

Summary: Please stay here. This is a country stay that sums up all a guesthouse should be. Hospitality plus!!

Positive: The whole place is just like a dream. The location is absolutely beautiful in between the hills, the house itself is stunning and well taken care of. Everything is spotless clean and the hospitality offered by Iker and Martha was sublime. The food they made was amazing and they even helped me arrange a surprise gift for my partner.

Positive: A b s o l u t e l y e v e r y t h i n g! You can feel the love of owners to everything here - house, guests, food and everything they do. The place is so nice we asked to stay longer, it is calm, has a lot of shade for hot days and things to do around. Absolute gem, best place we stayed during our 2 week trip in Portugal.

Negative: I understood exactly as it came out - the bathroom was not in the room (although for private use). Not a big issue considering the house, but nowadays we are used to always have the bathroom in the room.

We loved the countryside feel, the beautiful guillotine windows, the morning light entering the wood floored room, a lovely garden which we still have to see in spring... Dylan and Dexter's welcoming all well. The hosts were very kind and helpful, always ready to assist any need. Definitely stopping by again.

Positive: This is the most amazing place we stayed in Portugal. A grand old, but modernized, home, Marta and Iker have created a welcoming, pleasant and restful place to explore and rejuvenate while on a tour of Portugal. Whether hiking mountain trails or just reading a book and listening to your playlist, this is the place. Breakfast is great. As an extra special item Iker is a chef and cooks up exquisite dinners. There are some good restaurants in the area too. This is a place where you can see and experience the real Portugal.
