Positive: Rating: 10/10 Casa do Barão is a wonderful oasis right in the center of Lisbon. The atmosphere is calm and beautifully designed, with stylish rooms, cosy lounges and even a library full of great books. A real highlight is Angela’s legendary cake buffet, available free of charge all day until 11 p.m. – simply unforgettable. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive: the reception team gives excellent tips for restaurants and excursions and even helps with football tickets, while housekeeping keeps everything perfectly clean and discreet. Without a doubt: when we return to Lisbon, it will be Casa do Barão again.

Positive: Casa do Borao is a little haven in busy Chiado. We felt very safe and comfortable staying there. Our room was perfect, clean, quiet and comfortable. We loved returning to the Casa after our adventures in Lisbon, and loved the communal library, terrace, and pool loungers, not to mention Angela's delicious cakes and a little glass of port wine to end our day! We felt very fortunate to have found such an intimate, calm and welcoming space, with far more character and charm than a typical hotel. Would gladly stay again.

Positive: The welcome was friendly and professional. Thd location is excellent in a quiet street but only a 5 minute walk from a metro station and into lively Chiado district. 10 minutes walk to main city center shopping area and done to the river Room great..breakfast super..enjoyed having breakfast in thd garden. Staff so helpful

Negative: Coffee could be..only comment but otherwise would go back next time I am in Lisbon

Positive: Everything! Location was perfect. We walked everywhere, were close to lots of amazing restaurants and bars and when we wanted to travel a bit further trams and trains were only 10 minutes. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the breakfast area is lovely. A perfect place to relax after a day out and about in Lisbon with loads of free drinks and food available all day. The cakes were our favourite part. Finally the welcome is amazing, so friendly and warm! Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it highly.
