Positive: Great location right on the beach & close to restaurants etc. Modern property with AC throughout. Big long table out the front which is lovely to eat meals from & look out to sea. Lovely housekeeper Anatasia who kept the property extremely clean & visited daily. The owner arranged a lovely meal cooked by Anastasia and Elias (a local tour guide too) which was delicious & our favourite meal of the trip. There is also a guard at night (however we never felt unsafe at night).

Negative: Nothing! Any small issues we had the owner sorted promptly and was very responsive to our messages.

Negative: Air conditioner in lounge was mostly dysfunctional. Noise on New Year’s eve and new year’s day. Main bathroom needs an upgrade.

Positive: Location perfect. Staff excellent.

Negative: Aircon leaking in one bedroom and failed most days in main room. Permanent aircon leak in kitchen area requiring a bucket and towel. Electricity outages. Each day maintenance staff came to try and fix the aircon. Last day getting electric shocks from water! No basic supplies provided (no tea, oil, body wash etc etc). Hosts were doing construction work at the back of the property on a 2 level dwelling - didn’t use the back garden of the house. We left early due to safety concerns (civil unrest), warned to leave and no tourists with our friends unable to get to Tofo due to blockades. Owners did not refund the 3 nights which was disappointing. A premium holiday home that for reasons above did not match the price paid.

Positive: Elias was an excellent host/manager. Checked in often to make sure we were comfortable. Great location on the beach and near shopping and restaurants. Great housekeeper who made sure we had everything we needed and came daily.
