Positive: This is an excellent place to stay on the beautiful island of Bonaire for one or two people. The property is VERY well kept and the location is nice and cozy. The bed was comfortable and there is PLENTY of room in the apartment for 1 to 2 people. There's a small kitchen, refrigerator/freezer, coffee maker (European type coffee) a microwave oven and gas range top. There were plenty of utensils and pots/pans for my cooking. There is a nice small patio on the front of the apartment that is well shaded and has a table where I could sit outside. There was free Wifi and free Netflix. Like most places I have stayed at on Bonaire, there is air conditioning in the bedroom only. There were two fans in the living area to help keep the living area cool. Personally, I don't like running the air conditioning during the day. I use it only at night nd keep the setting so that the bedroom is warm but not overly so. Each aparment has its own gear locker for scuba gear and there is an OUTSTANDING rinse station for scuba gear in the back of the apartments. The swimming pool is kept very clean and is a very, very nice pool. Also, a grill is kept in the pool area. I was free to use that grill, although I did not take advantage of this situation. Best of all, there is a very nice outdoor shower. I don't like showering inside when I'm on Bonaire. I prefer showering outside and this property had a fantastic outdoor shower I could use after a day of scuba diving. One of the things I really liked was to open the front and back doors to the apartment. When I did that, a very nice breeze blew throught the apartment in the evenings. I've been to Bonaire a LOT over the past 12 years. This has been my favorite place to stay up to this point and I look forward to coming back to it with one of my children.

Negative: I do not like to go out to eat and prefer to stay in my apartment/house to fix my own food. There was no oven for cooking pizzas. I really like those small frozen pizzas I buy at van den Tweel's supermarket. I needed an oven to make those pizzas. I realize this is a small inconvenience and did not have a big impact on the quality of my stay at this fantastic property.

Summary: A fantastic place to stay on Bonaire for one or two people who love to dive!

Positive: The apartment was spotless and it felt like new. We loved the location and the kitchen, which was well appointed and felt very open. We also loved the dive cleaning area which had wonderfully designed drying and storage features. Garden was beautiful.

Negative: The hosts ask that the air conditioning remain off during the day. We stayed at the height of summer heat and humidity. Some evenings were a challenge before the air conditioning was turned on. This would not be an issue at other times of year.

Summary: All in all our stay was outstanding.

Positive: The apartment is spacious, clean and there is AC in the bedroom. The owners are very friendly and there are 3 lovely cats around :) We appreciated that they've picked us up from the airport and that they let us check out late in the evening (as the flight was quite late) There is a lot of space to park (and it's necessary to have a car to move around the island). Another big plus is the pool .

Negative: During the day it gets very hot.

Positive: Vera and Mario were great hosts. Apartment was everything we needed it to be for our trip. The locker and sinks out back were very convient to clean our dive gear each day.
