Negative: The property itself is undergoing improvements so it seems a little disappointing on the outside but it is also surrounded by lots of vegetation with is nice.

Positive: We wanted to book a place that is cheep and close to the airport. We arrived and it was probably the best guesthouse we’ve ever been to. Arthoro, the host, made us an amazing dinner and drank with us Coffe at the morning. The whole place is made from recycled material that he takes and makes into the most beautiful artwork and designs. Can’t recommend this place enough! Will definitely be back.

Positive: A Hidden Gem in Cancun – Artistic, Eco-Friendly, and Full of Heart This accommodation near Cancun Airport is, without a doubt, my favorite place out of the 10 places we stayed at during our trip. It’s not just a place to stay—it's an experience. The entire property is designed with incredible attention to detail, love, and impeccable taste, making the space feel warm and unique. What truly sets this place apart is its eco-friendly ethos. Almost everything is handmade by the owner, who is an absolutely lovely person. Their passion and care shine through in every corner of the property, from the artistic decor to the sustainable practices. Although we only stayed for one night at a time (as a jump-off to the airport or the starting point for our tour), I always found myself wishing we had more time here. It’s far from the hustle of Cancun’s touristy areas, which makes it the perfect spot for anyone who loves art and wants a peaceful, unique stay. The property is surrounded by lush plants, and if you’re lucky, you might spot some wildlife! There’s one wild animal in particular that I believe is native to Mexico—it was such a delight to observe. In summary, this place is a treasure. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a tranquil, artistic retreat close to the airport yet not far from the center. I can’t wait to return and hopefully stay longer next time!
