Positive: The house was nice overall, with a cozy fireplace that had enough wood for the whole stay, and the bedding was very comfortable. A big plus was that they accept pets, so we could bring our dog, which we really appreciated.

Negative: While the house had some nice features, there were several drawbacks. The property was not properly soundproofed, and being so close to the road, the noise from cars was quite disturbing. The managers showed little flexibility for late checkouts, even on New Year's Eve, when some understanding would have been appreciated. The cleaning fee for pets felt quite high, considering the service provided. Additionally, given that the aldeia has very few services, it would have been nice to find basic amenities like coffee capsules or tea, but nothing was provided. A self-check-in option would also have been more convenient, as it would have avoided unnecessary message exchanges.

Positive: The location is perfect for anyone who wishes an early start to walk the "Passadiços do Mondego" (https://passadicosdomondego.net/fotos/); also Videmonte is a small village full of charming houses, with many being renovated; there is a couple who produces really good bread in the old fashion and also has delicious honey and herb teas; there is also a cheese artisan cheese maker; there are sheep and goats and a shepherd that still takes them in and out of the village; many fresh and ready to be used water fountains, beautiful nature and silence all around

Negative: Since we arrived late, there were no shops open, but there was still the local Association's bar, that was open until 22h30; it would have been nice to have a bit of coffee, tea and biscuits waiting for us; however we had fresh fruit and plenty of water and were still able to buy bread through the good and most kind offices of the house owner, who is part of a local family
