Positive: This house was a wow from the moment we arrived and were shown around. Lovely spacious well tended gardens and outdoor areas with great views and several sitting areas, and separate buildings for the Barbecue and the Spa. Even the fruit trees had explanatory labels on them, and there were marked up photos around the garden showing what could be seen in each direction Inside was a well stocked kitchen, including a selection of local wines for sale and a comfy sitting room with TV (we didn't use), a great selection of local guides and good WiFi. The beds were comfortable although being a historic house the upper bedroom floor creaked quite a bit! There was information about the family history, including a photo of Abuela Maria, as well as historic artefacts dotted around. There is great walking straight from the door, or the local bus stops at the end of the street if you want to leave the car behind for the day. Main shops are 10 minutes away and on the drive to the property., Alberto recommended several good restaurants for us to try, both locally and around the island. We came to hike, and this was the perfect base for us. Our stay here was outstanding, and we would love to return one day
