Positive: We liked almost everything about our stay at Casa de Los Acacio. From the time of booking to after our departure we felt welcome, with the personal contact being a nice touch. Upon our arrival we were offered to park the car on the hotel grounds, which was comforting and treated warmly by the staff. The hotel is well cared for and the spaces are lovely, and exactly as pictured. The check-in procedure was easy and we were provided with great recommendations for dinner. We were taken to our room and shown what was necessary to ensure we had a pleasant stay. The room was great, with traditional decor and despite the cold temperatures was cozy. We were very happy to have the bathrobes provided, and we found the bed to be comfortable. The location of the hotel is great, being close to the Plaza Mayor and the main restaurants/sights are within easy walking distance. We found breakfast to be a simple, but well catered affair and the staff were more than willing to ensure that we had a great experience and everything that we required. Check-out was also easy and we had no issues at any stage of our stay.

Negative: Despite the positive aspects, we found the shower in the bathroom to be a little difficult to use, leading to excessive water on the floor after our showers. We also found the base of the television in our room to be broken, meaning that we had to ensure the television was supported for fear of it falling.

Summary: A traditional stay in off the beaten track, wonderful!

Positive: Our stay here was beyond expectation. Everything from even before we arrived was exceptional. The accommodations are beautiful and comfortable. The host was so gracious and friendly and provided everything and more that we could have wanted or needed. The hotel is very well located in this super cute town and we were given excellent recommendations of places to go to eat and drink, all within walking distance. Breakfast was also beyond expectation and served with such grace. The hotel is a perfect stay, be it for a casual weekend, a wedding or for business.

Negative: I can think of nothing that was negative. We had absolutely no complaints.

Summary: Exceptional service in very comfortable accommodation with friendly hosts in a lovely town.

Positive: We had a fantastic stay at the Casa de los Acacio. We felt very welcome and the owners did everything to make our stay truly remarkable. The room was spacious and clean. We especially liked the very traditional style of the mansion and the room with books and games. One additional highlight was the great breakfast buffet! We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it!

Positive: Everything is so romantic! Clean, tasteful, spacious, like being invited by a member of the noble people of San Clemente! Toiletries, bath robes, warm hospitality and suggestions to the best places to eat and have fun around! The attention to detail is impressive; their treatment of dietary preferences as well!
