Positive: Good breakfast, continental style with eggs also offered, fresh squeezed orange juice, good coffee and selection of teas. The pool and pool area were great for relaxing or a quick dip, whirlpool also available in pool area, comfortable room. But the best was the staff: Nadja and Joaquim were both really welcoming and hospitable. I also loved how the owners have kept traditional Portuguese vibes, like traditional tiled floors, herb gardens, homemade olive oil, and more!

Negative: It didn´t bother me personally, but some people would prefer a window that shuts with more security in the bathroom. Also, the privacy shade in the bathroom was a little awkward to get it to stay down.

Summary: Loved every minute, the hospitality shown by the staff, and the attention to detail in decor

Positive: The staff were exceptionally lovely, especially with my kids. The pool was clean and refreshing, and the atmosphere was verty natural and rural, calm, comfortable with very fresh mountians air.

Negative: Everything was perfect, but I would suggest improving the variety of the breakfast by adding more food types.

Positive: Comfortable accommodation in the countryside, in a traditional house. Our hosts were very welcoming, going above and beyond to help with anything, from planning activities to booking restaurants. Very quiet location, great for recovery from the noisiness and confusion of everyday city life.

Negative: You need to keep in mind that this is traditional accommodation, in a village. Bring everything you might need if not planning to drive a lot, as supermarkets, farmacies, other services are not exactly nearby and closing times, even for restaurants, are earlier than those in big cities. With correct expectations set, everything should be fine.
