Positive: I loved the fact that we were away from.the village, but not too far. Also the host created a very welcoming environment. We felt at home right away.

Negative: The mattress that I slept on was a bit too basic, and there is no A/C. It can get hot on a sunny day between noon and 6 pm but we were about enjoying the Ilha Grande during that time. Though for the price, I feel that it was okay.

Positive: Everything was to our liking. Soraiah is a wonderful and attentive host who gave us great recommendations and help throughout our time leading up to and during our stay. Though the place was clean there were a lot of ants and even moreso when any little bit of food wrappers are left out or in the trash they find it really quick. This isn't so much of a criticism because this is very deep into an island as it is just to set expectations.

Positive: The host was very helpful. She send us so many recommendations and was very nice. The house is beautiful decorated. There is a lot of space inside.

Negative: Some of the kitchen equipment is a little bit old and the sofas might not be comfortable for people with allergy.
