Positive: Such a beautiful, traditional style home; comfortable & central to the island. Peace & quiet like a safe blanket with exquisite attention to details throughout. A greeting basket of milk, butter, cheese, & bread made it easy to relax & settle in the first day. There is a market just down the hill for more provisions. Loved the Gracious hospitality. Had a well priced car from Bettoncourt Rentals; made it easy to take the waters at Carapacho & then dine at the restaurant by the sea near Luz. All were truly excellent!

Negative: I wish that I could have stayed longer & been able to chat with more locals.

Positive: It's a very beautiful old farmhouse they remodeled into a guesthouse. However, they maintained the rural charme of whitewashed walls, stone, and dark wood. However, the communal kitchen and the bathrooms are state of the art. The center of town as well as some hiking trails are easily reachable by walking.

Positive: The house is very beautiful, traditional and restored with great care and attention to details. Very clean and confortable is ideal to occupy with friends: it has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen and a dining room. The room we were given is spacious and has two beautiful windows with wonderful views. The owners, siblings, are Simao and Katharina, kind, helpful and present when needed and they both speak English very well. A place I would recommend and to which I would return if I ever came to the beautiful island of Graciosa.

Positive: Beautiful typical old house renovated enough indoors with modern facilities for comfort. Greeted by friendly Filomena who gave us the house tour. Able to reach Simao either by message or phone if we had any questions.

Negative: Squeaky doors which need to be opened and closed slowly in order not to bother others.

Summary: Very good stay! Happy they were able to accommodate our whole family with an extra bed for a child.
