Positive: The house is beautiful, clean, comfortable and in a beautiful location. We stayed for 4 nights in October and had 2 hot days so the pool was an added bonus. The house is finished to a very high standard and very well equipped. The garden is beautifully kept and the views are amazing.

Positive: This is a beautiful house. You get light from four sides, and the gardens surrounding the house are wonderful. The house has amazing views of the vast valley below. The bedrooms were excellent, and the kitchen was fully equipped and a pleasure to use. We highly recommend visiting some of the ancient villages with an hour's drive of the house.

Negative: The upstairs bathroom is a little small but otherwise excellent.

Positive: Lovely clean well equipped house in a wonderful setting. A twin and double room in the main house with external stairs to 3rd bedroom (double ensuite) below the house, well equipped kitchen, lounge with smart TV and a family bathroom. Mid-may the pool was empty because it is still probably out of season. The gardens are the property’s crowning glory with a comfortable verandah to sit and eat or listen to the birds. We absolutely loved our stay and would love to return. Thank you Joao (pronounced juh-wow)

Positive: The property was really lovely. It is tucked away up a private road, but has good access to the village. Our host João, was very welcoming, and did everything to make sure that we enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable and offered us everything that we needed for a fantastic holiday. Outside there is a gorgeous garden with excellent seating areas and outdoor facilities. Should you wish to explore, there is more land belonging to the house offering vineyards, orange and olive trees. It really is magical. The swimming pool was such a bonus too set in the private garden surrounded by nature.

Positive: The host, João, kindly met us at the house to show us around and explained more about the area. He also left us some local welcome goodies. We stayed with our friends and had a great time cooking meals together and enjoying the yard. Lots of care has been taken with the flowers and trees and outside area is just beautiful! We used the pool a couple of times even though the weather wasn’t that agreeable. We just had to use it before leaving:) We took a walk into town and got some fresh bread and on the way back a neighbor gave us a big bag of fresh oranges. The house is an older home that has been updated and appointed with everything needed for a nice stay. All the beds are VERY comfortable! Plentiful seating and dishes/utensils. We already are planning our next visit. Thank you João for a great vacation!
