Positive: The woman who met us was super sweet and helpful. The property is beautiful and we wish we were there in the season to enjoy the pool. We enjoy having breakfast outside in the porch.

The host who welcomed our group was incredibly kind and attentive, and treated us to a fantastic breakfast featuring local cheese, freshly baked bread, and homemade cakes. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with air conditioning keeping things pleasant throughout, while the fireplace added a cosy charm to those quiet winter evenings. The location was ideal too, just a short walk from the castle and surrounded by plenty of great restaurants.

Negative: The location is quite remote, reached by a scenic and picturesque drive up to the house, something that, far from being a drawback, genuinely adds to the charm and character of the experience. For groceries or larger shops, you'll need to drive around 10km, but it's a quick and easy trip that hardly feels like an inconvenience.

Positive: Amazing house, with all the facilities, in an excellent location to visit Sortelha and all the sorroundings or simply stay at home and enjoy the great garden or be the fireplace. The owners are a local family, very nice, who do everything for you to feel comfortable, provide gifts and a lot of advises.
