Positive: Irika Lodge is simply stunning. Roland and Emily’s coffee farm feels like a world of its own — lush, peaceful, and alive with birdsong and wildlife. The cabin is cozy, spotlessly clean, and comes with a wonderful terrace perfect for unwinding and watching nature go by. And you fall asleep — and wake up — to an unforgettable view of the landscape. Forget the guidebooks. Roland will point you to the most beautiful hidden spots you’d never find on your own, walk you through the world of coffee growing with genuine passion, and treat you to his own excellent coffee. Their ethical approach and deep respect for nature shine through in everything they do. We left a piece of our hearts at Irika, and when we return to Costa Rica — we will — this is where we’re coming back to.
