Positive: quiet part of town . Spacious and impressive home.

Negative: it took a long time to get replies to questions re deposit needed for bond and the links didnt work to make payment which was a worry so close to book in time. Conflicting messages from the managing agent asking for bond and booking.com stating never give details to a third party. This took a lot of time out of our holiday to sort out and needed me to phone booking.com to verify the managers request. Mosquitos were a bit of an issue in the house. No proper lounge area

Negative: The only downside was the rules of the house… came across very strict felt you couldn’t relax as frightened to touch anything (all itemised costs)

Positive: The accommodation was centrally located, practically equipped, spacious and met all our expectations. The hosts are available from the moment of booking till the moment we arrived back home and answered all our questions. The online faq on how things work around the accommodation was great to use.

Summary: Overperformed our expectations. Definitely worth staying again in a next visit to Malta

Positive: The villa is specious and beautiful with pleasant bedrooms and bathrooms. Beautiful photos of Malta on the walls. We stayed there with 3 kids and had a nice time. There were some nice toys to play with. The location was a bit far from the center but there were bus stops nearby, small supermarket and a playground.

Negative: I wish you had better kitchen appliances. All the frying pans are very old and badly scratched. There is no microwave and no dishwasher. Dusty plastic plants quite ruin the villa's aesthetics and charm.

Summary: We had a nice time in Casa Bartolo
