Positive: The apartment is really modern with everything you need. Our host Mónica was really helpful, sent us links with recommendations for dinner and waited for us till late when we arrived. Really recommend it

Positive: Very spacious, clean and well located apartment. The host Monica got in touch a few days before check-in and answered all our queries throughout very promptly. I was worried street noise at night as my wife is light sleeper. Both bedrooms are en-suite and the one facing inner courtyard is very quiet. We found free parking space on nearby street. It’s 15min walk to old town and about 10 min walk to archeological park. Highly recommend for excellent base if you visit the area.

Positive: What Casa Bandiera lacks in living room space, it makes up with two spacious and modern en suites. As traveling adults, it was great not to have to figure out whose turn it was to get the smaller bedroom (perhaps with twin beds) and, accordingly, be assigned the hallway bathroom. A bonus was that the washing machine was in the laundry room off the hallway and not in someone’s bathroom. Location is always important. Casa Bandiera is between the Archeological Park and Ortygia but closer to the park. Since we had a car, this was a better choice. We got a free parking spot immediately in front of the apartment. Although we were lucky, Monica was ready to suggest a nearby street which would have likely had spots. A nearby supermarket completed our location requirements. Having Monica as a helpful host, gave us all the reasons why we would happily stay at Casa Bandiera if we were to return to Syracuse.
