Our lovely suite is located at the end of a quiet and peaceful road with your morning view being the sun rising on Whitaker River. Despite the seclusion, Casa Azul is MINUTES away from Downtown Sarasota and the nicest beaches in the country; Siesta Key and Lido Key.
Casa Azul boasts a stylish space complete with full renovations on the entire space and entrance. The space has been designed specifically for your comfort and tranquility. The space is designed for the perfect getaway for two to four guests to come relax in one of the nicest cities in all of the U.S.
Along with a great view you can also expect a full kitchen with amenities such a coffee maker, toaster, and refrigerator to be used to your heart`s content.
Two Roku TVs are also provided that come with Sling TV, Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime Video. These are all for you!
A washer and dryer have been provided for your use as well.
Casa Azul is a 2 bed/1 bath guest suite that is attached to a duplex. You have total privacy while in your suite as there is no access between the two units inside. We are located a short two minute drive from your suite. We give you complete privacy through your stay but we are easily reachable for any questions or help.
Bayou Oaks is known as one of the most tranquil neighborhoods in Sarasota. The suite is situated at the very end of a street that has undergone massive changes over the past 5 years. Being located right next to the main campus of Ringling College you may find the neighborhood almost as if you are within the campus itself!
The scenery of the street is reminiscent of a forest with large overhanging trees casting peaceful shadows over the street. The neighbors are friendly and very respectful. You can expect complete and total privacy during your stay and also a wonderful morning view as the sun rises to shine on the bayou river just outside your window!
You will love your personal view of the river that feeds the Whitaker Bayou!
Not only is Bayou Oaks a peaceful neighborhood but it is also right next to Downtown Sarasota where all the fun is! A quick 5minute drive from Riverside Oasis and you are in the middle of downtown with all the restaurants and entertainment you could want. And when it`s time to relax you can be assured of the peace you deserve at Casa Azul.
Driving is almost mandatory through all of Sarasota.
Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am. We might have other guests staying in the separate unit.

Summary: The flat was quite nice. The bathroom is tiny and no place to hang towels. Queen size bed sunk in the middle.Owner was very responsive!

Summary: This place is a hidden gem. It is located in a rough side of town but other than that we had no issues. Its location is close to just about everything and it was very quiet and peaceful. It does have a separate room attached to it that someone either lives in or stays at but they ere far enough away that we never saw them or heard them. Would definitely recommend it.

Summary: Located in a safe, well-maintained, but lower middle class neighborhood, this property has been beautifully re-done interioraly, and the grounds are well maintained. patio is delightful. I'd stay here again if in SW Florida.

Summary: nice place close to the things we wanted to do..ringling museum,beach,yoders restaurant etc.while the house is located in not the best part of town..it was quiet..and clean..and a very good price

Summary: We had a very nice stay at Casa Azul. The suite was very clean and well maintained. The bathroom appeared to be newly renovated. The house was well stocked and the location was very convenient, being just a couple of blocks away from Ringling School of Art and Design. We appreciated the fact that it was pet friendly, and the fenced-in backyard was a plus. We would definitely return when in the area again.

Summary: I was not aware of this when booking — there is a room attached to the side of house with a separate door entrance. No one else was there when we arrived but the next morning of our stay, a man was parked on the side of the house. I guess he lives there? We checked out shortly after but it was kind of weird and I was not aware it was a shared property. Overall, the neighborhood is iffy but very close to all the main attractions we were visiting so it was convenient for us. The house was clean from a surface level but needs a serious deep clean. Lots of wear and tear throughout the house, you see it as soon as you see the front door condition. The window in the shower has a film on it to cover it but the film was cut unevenly so it does not fully cover the sides of the window in the shower. We had to put up a towel up to cover it. The backyard was fine but very dirty. The washer and dryer is outside and not very usable as it’s full of rust and dirt all around it. The host was accommodating with an early check-in.
