Positive: Beautiful rooms, and Eddy was so helpful and kind - we left our luggage when we went on a trip to the Colca Canyon, and he made sure our taxi took us to the right bus station which could have been a disaster! Lovely breakfast.

Negative: Only downside is the nearby roundabout can be quite difficult to cross at busy times.

Summary: Perfect place to start a trip to Peru :)

Positive: This property was very well maintained, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The area is nice and walkable to local restaurants and not too far from the city's historic center. Unfortunately, we didn't get to enjoy it long enough as we had a 3 am pickup for a tour of Colca Canyon.

Positive: Love everything! The place is very stylish, clean and comfortable. The staff is very polite and helpful, when they served me breakfast at the roof, I felt like a royalty. I came by car and they allowed me to park in front of the house and guarded it at night.

Negative: It is a bit far from the center but I chose it because I wanted a quiet place.

Positive: Eddy was super friendly. The room was nice, and breakfast on the roof was lovely.

Negative: Eddy helped arrange a Canyon trek tour which had a few minor issues and was a bit more expensive than buying direct based on my chats with others on the tour.

Positive: The home was gorgeous and meticulously kept up. The staff has extremely accommodating and helpful. I enjoyed learning a bit of the history of the home. It is about an 18 minute walk from the historic center.I wish I could have stayed longer.

Negative: I didn't want to leave! I may come back and stay longer

Positive: A beautiful 1950’s home filled with antiques and books, Casa Arequipa was a wonderful 5 day stop for us. Eddy and the staff provided a warm and helpful welcome! Breakfasts on the rooftop terrace were among the best we’ve had. The full pot of French press coffee was something we looked forward to. A 1 or 1.5 km walk to the historic centre provided all the sites, restaurants and cafes. It was nice to be in a neighborhood rather than a commercial area.
