Positive: Great place to stay in the center of town. Staff is extremely helpful, rooms are freshly updated, and the bed was quite comfortable. It is, however, rather a basic hotel. One of the best things about it is that they will hold your luggage and that they have lovely areas that you can spend an afternoon while you wait for your bus in the evening.

Negative: It was just a basic 3 star hotel

Positive: Great room, nice and quiet. The pool area is very clean and cosy and beautiful. We were allowed to use it after checking out, which was great because we had time to kill before taking a night bus.

Negative: The laundry service was a bit expensive but did the job well.

Positive: The room was very clean, the bed was very big and comfortable. The air-conditioning worked very well when it got a little hot during our stay. Staff was very welcoming and I can tell they took pride in cleaning and taking care of their hotel, I noticed staff cleaning during our stay. The hotel seemed newer than the surrounding buildings and modern. The location was walking distance to a lot of shops, restaurants and the main square, which was really nice. I felt safe during my stay and it was a nice town. During my stay I was given a tray of complimentary chocolates and fruit, which I thought was very nice of them. Me and my husband thought they were delicious, thank you! During the morning of our check out we had gotten up early to catch a bus back to Lima and that's when the earthquake happened. It shook us up but we're used to them in California. I will have to say the building held up very well and no one was hurt and we were ok. It was a 5.1 magnitude in San Pedro. We had breakfast to go, we got some bread cheese and ham, we wanted to catch an early bus. Overall I would stay here again and I'd recommend it to my friends.

Negative: There was just one thing. Me and husband went to the restaurant in the hotel to have dinner and some drinks, but they didn't have alcoholic drinks. So we walked somewhere else. Which wasn't a big deal but just something to consider.

Negative: The Wi-Fi was really slow and when your travelling across a foreign country it is essential to be able to book transport , trips find restaurants etc Charging S/5 for water but giving a welcoming cakes seemed odd Water should be free as not a budget hotel
