Positive: The place is very peaceful and secluded. It had a very beautiful garden and everything is very well taken care of. The rooms are beautiful, clean and in very good conditions. The restaurant has really good food. They organise tours and offer kayaks and snorkel gear for free. The staff is lovely and very attentive.

Negative: The place is really far away from everything (which is part of the charm) so you will need your own transport to travel around the island. We loved being so close to the sea but it was a shame there was not a real beach to be in. It’s a shame the biggest beach you can access from the hotel is so abandoned: with the ruins of an old resort and a lot of street dogs going around. If the hotel would take care of it the place would be perfect.

Positive: Lovely stay at Casa Amihan. The hotel is human sized, peaceful and really enjoyable. The private beach is amazing. The restaurant is delicious and affordable. But the most important thing about Casa Amihan is the staff. Everyone was so helpful and kind : a true pleasure. Special mention for Tere who was absolutely lovely during our stay.

Negative: Nothing that we disliked really. Just could be nice to improve the breakfast with some fruits buffet or some homemade cakes. But that is just some minor points to better the service even more !

Summary: Lovely human-sized hotel, amazing staff.
