Positive: It is a very nice location, if you like rural areas. The balcony is at the south side, so we enjoyed the time in the short hours when the winter sun was shining. The owner Fernanda was very helpful and found solutions and workarounds for little problems. Very good is the possibility of hiking a trail directly from the house without the need to drive before. We liked this trail.

Negative: The apartment is relatively small, especially the kitchen area - and after staying in other Portuguese houses and comparing the prices we see it as a bit expensive. The mentioned hiking trail we discovered ourselves, it was not yet described in the info set which we got before. I wrote a trail description to Fernanda, maybe she adds it into her info set.

Positive: Very beautilful apartments in wonderful nature. The owner, Fernanda, delivered outstandung services, much more than you can expect, e.g. daily cleaning, optional breakfast, much information about the area, restaurant reservation etc etc. Fantastic!

Positive: Fernanda is a very welcoming host, and the apartment was spacious and nice. The breakfast was huge, one could choose from many different options, and it was delicious!

Positive: The breakfasts were incredible, fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh coffee, lovely breads, jams, cheeses, hams and anything else we desired. There was a dining room in the main house but we enjoyed our breakfast delivered to us each morning at a flexible time. The owner was charming and accommodating making us feel “at home”. We had a comfortable private terrace which was nice in the forest surroundings. The town was a surprisingly short drive away given our quiet forest surroundings. .

Negative: The upstairs loft bedroom had a dormer ceiling which was difficult for the six foot tall guest. Fortunately there was a sofa bed in the main room that he moved to. The unit is in a protected forest, beautiful and quiet, a short drive on an unexpectedly bumpy dirt road. I suggest a four wheel drive vehicle for this accommodation.
