Positive: Very conveniently located to explore the Turda Gorge area, Very good value for money with amenities above its price range. New-ish construction that's well cared for, spotlessly clean, friendly and inviting staff. Comfortable beds, shower large enough for taller folks, individually controlled AC that's up to the task and quiet.

Negative: Nothing, really. If I were to nitpick - late arrivals will have to park on the street as on-property parking is all taken (there is not enough on-property parking to cater to a fully booked house). But that's not really an issue.

Positive: The property owner was very responsive and did her best to assist at all times. Next door neighbours were also really friendly. The location was outside the nearest town of Turda, which gave the peace and quiet that I was looking for, yet near enough to shops and restaurants. if you're into hiking, it is really close to a nice gorge/valley with hiking trails that are popular with the locals. also a few nice restaurants (albeit isolated) around, if you are willing to venture out enough. The house also looks newly renovated and air-conditioning was available in the room. I think my enjoyment of this property was also aided by the fact that there were no other guests during my stay.

Negative: The owner was kind enough to let us use her washing machine, but I'm not sure that it is usually available to guests. A dedicated washer/dryer for guests would make this place great for longer stays - we were here for 4 nights. The kitchen could be improved with: a microwave oven, an electric kettle, more knives, kitchen towels and paper towels. Maybe a small toaster oven too .That would make the kitchen superb. A gas stove and oven (no thermometer) are available but I'm not so familiar or confident with those. A poorly installed drainpipe caused my AC unit to leak. It's unfortunate and it looks like the owner was hard done by her contractor, but it is what it is.
