Positive: The cottage was clean cosy and welcoming with milk in the fridge and a bottle of wine. The bed is so comfy and bathroom with walk in shower excellent. Our stay was for while we had bathroom alterations at home. Everyone was so welcoming and understanding to our situation. We were lucky (!) enough to have snow which made everything look idyllic. Cannot praise the whole family enough. Thank you so much Jules John and Marion. Gilly and Steve

Positive: Situated in a very quiet and small village in amongst beautiful country side of undulating grassland, agricultural land and managed woodland. Very well equipped kitchen and comfortable bed.

Negative: Wifi not available during stay (didn't raise with the hosts as this wasn't much of an issue for me, but sure it could have been resolved if required)

Positive: Smiths Cottage was comfortable, clean, peaceful, and had easy parking. The owners were very helpful and friendly, and their four-legged family an added bonus! I queried whether there was a microwave or not, before arrival, as different websites had different information on this. There wasnt, but they put one in for my stay. For people with limited mobility but not wheelchair users, there is one small step up into the cottage, which I found perfectly manageable with M.E/CFS. There is a short walk from the car parking area to the cottage, but on one level. Wifi was non-existent within the property during my stay, but I believe there would have been reception from the front of the house had I tried that. However the EE network and data was perfectly sufficient, and I managed to tether my iPad to my phone for those times when I wanted to check local online maps, opening times of places, etc. Nothing else mattered while on holiday. I would happily return.

Negative: Nothing not to like!
