Positive: This place turned out to be an unbelievably luxurious and incredibly spacious standalone house — completely beyond my expectations. The staff were extremely friendly, and they even provided complimentary cereal and milk for breakfast. Even with three families staying together, there was more than enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably. I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the best accommodation I’ve ever stayed in, and it was surprisingly affordable. The moment my friends and I stepped inside, we were literally screaming — it was perfect.

Positive: Really cosy house that was perfectly located for Pen Y Fan a few minutes drive away. Great for groups and the hotel were more than happy to arrange beds as we needed. Really nice to have access to the spa and hotel as we wanted.

Negative: A tiny bit tired in places and a few items needed replacing in the kitchen but staff were very willing to help in the hotel for things we needed.

Summary: Perfect for groups wanting to be in the middle of Brecon.

Positive: Beautiful location. Really handy to have hotel & Spa facilities next to house. All Hotel staff that we came in contact with were very friendly & helpful. Nice quality of furnishings in House. Very enjoyable stay.

Negative: No welcoming pack. No can opener to be found. One would have been extremely useful, but generally well equipped.

Positive: Lovely and quiet area, brilliant for large groups and plenty to do around the area

Negative: For £350 a night I was expecting more, disappointed that I had spend that much and It wasn’t worth the money, it was freezing cold, we put the heating up to maximum and it still wasn’t warming up the radiators were stone cold, electric heaters in 2 of the rooms but not enough to warm up a massive house, amazing cooking facilities but nothing to cook on. We had brought food with us to cook but there were no cooking trays or anything to cook food on. The people who had stayed the night before had broken the wardrobe there were scratches and cracks up all the walls it definitely needs a lot of TLC and that’s all you can smell in there is sewers from the toilet down stairs

Negative: There was a sewage smell in the downstairs toilet so we did not use however assumed it may be due to storms that had happened previously. Did not effect really the rest of the house providing the door was kept closed
