Summary: Excellent location to walk to many shops and eateries with open air live music all around. We stayed in the cottage which was a few homes away from the Inn. It was small compared to others offered but was fine for our two night stay.The bed and pillows were comfortable. We visited the Inn every morning for coffee and a freshly made delightful breakfast! One morning was homemade blintzes with a raspberry sauce, a side of sausage, and a blueberry scone . The manager Theresa was wonderful and gave us recommendations of some favorite spots that we also enjoyed. We had a slow shower drain that was remedied the same day of our report which was well noted. All in all you cannot beat this places convenience and attention to detail( red and white wine in the parlor for your enjoyment. Every afternoon there were freshly baked cookies ready for the taking. Water, coffee, tea were there all day.

Summary: Carriage Way Inn is located in a great part of town. Away from crowds, yet within a block or two of main touristy streets. Room could have been slightly cleaner - its an old building, but we noticed dirt on the floor and in other areas. Not a distasteful dirt, but noticeable. AC worked great - room was well appointed. Staff was GREAT - VERY accommodating and helpful. I'd go back just for the staff and the way they treated their guests. It was magnificent! One last point - although away from crowds, room was often noisy from traffic or people walking outside the door. Its an old building (as noted) so not very soundproof. At times you felt like people or cars were at your doorstep!

Summary: We loved our stay at the Emerald Room at Carriage Way. The room was beautifully decorated, it felts elegant with the huge post bed and chocolates on the pillow. They had a bottle of sherry complimentary in the room along with a mini fridge full of soda. The jet tub in the bathroom was what sealed the deal for us. They had a breakfast in the morning butbwe didnt stay for it. We will definitely be coming again next year.

Summary: Great location, staff, room, breakfasts! We really appreciated the individual heat/AC units, as not all historic B and Bs give you control over your temp. We had record cold, and the innkeeper was proactive about making sure we could stay warm enough. Not our usual concern in Florida, but much appreciated!
