Positive: Beautiful location and very comfortable stylish flat.
Negative: The stairs are extremely steep - think this should be mentioned on the details as it would have rendered the flat inaccessible for many people - also there is no gate at the top - it would be very easy to stumble and fall down these in an unfamiliar location.

Positive: Very comfortable and spacious flat, situated in Capesthorne’s extensive grounds. Sheep and rabbits in the surrounding fields. Flat beautifully renovated and furnished. Kitchen fully equipped. An old building so not well insulated, however the central heating system was supplemented with oil heaters for the cold weather. Location close to A34 bypass so only a few minutes drive to Wilmslow and Alderley Edge. Overall, very good value for money.
Negative: Steep staircase, although the property description forewarned us about this before we booked. The country setting is peaceful , however the nearest shops, garage etc are at least a mile away so you need a car. Received numerous duplicated booking confirmations and reminders from both Booking.com and Sykes which were unnecessary and annoying.
Summary: Spacious flat in a country setting, convenient for S Manchester/N Cheshire towns

Negative: Only one complaint. Dining chairs at kitchen table are hard and uncomfortable.
Summary: Accommodation is decorated to high spec. Great taste. Too many cushions though! 😄

Positive: Lovely spacious rooms, very clean and comfortable
Negative: Better information before we went as to where to park, where key box was located, and what would be in the property - we took things like dishwasher tablets, dishcloth and loo rolls, but plenty there. Another handwash soap for kitchen would have been useful

Positive: Perfect setting and beautifully appointed property. Kitchen not well supplied with cooking stuff yet. 8 egg cups for a four bed property, but no ovenwear for heating up the food we had brought. Minor teething issue for on an otherwise lovely appartment
