This very private fully furnished, self contained cottage offers accommodation for up to 2 adults.
The Cottage has a separate well equipped kitchen and bathroom with glass sliding doors off the lounge/bedroom area leading to a secluded covered deck with outdoor furniture, barbecue and magnificent views.
The Cottage is very centrally located - an ideal spot from which to explore the Yarra Valley, Dandenongs, Warrandyte, the Mornington Penninsular and is only 30 minutes drive from Melbourne City.
A bus service runs past the top of the street which connects to the Train Station from where trains will take you to either Belgrave (Puffing Billy Steam Train and the Dandenong Ranges) or Lilydale (Yarra Valley) in one direction and Melbourne City in the other (approximate 40 minute train ride). Private transport of course makes these popular destinations even closer.
Yarra Valley Winery Day Tours also operate from the Ringwood train station or pickup can be arranged directly from the Cottage.

Summary: The cottage was really nice and clean and the hosts were lovely. But the bed was the worst bed I’ve ever slept in in a holiday stay and the chair broke under my husband as he was sitting on it. But other than that it was nice

Summary: The only reason I didn't give a five was because of the steep access path but other than that everything was wonderful. This is a lovely little cottage with very friendly (but not in your face) hosts who went out of their way to offer assistance to us . I highly recommend this property to anyone providing there are no mobility issues.

Summary: Beautiful garden to enjoy from the lovely lanai (we're from Hawaii). Restful sleep thanks to the awesome pillow-top mattress. Off-street parking was helpful, and the neighborhood is very nice. Our only issue was with wifi, which seemed to be a bit inconsistent? My husband thanked me for booking Carr's Cottage (which doesn't always happen). Score of 9 out of 10 for us !!

Summary: This property is perfect for one or two people wanting a base to explore Melbourne but out of the hustle and bustle of the city. Very peaceful surroundings amongst the rolling hills and trees. Very well equipped and presented Ideally located for trips to the Dandenongs and the Yarra Valley wineries but also well located with the various freeways to travel to the City and towns like Bendigo and Ballarat. Now has a roof over the pictured balcony on which to relax. Highly recommended.

Summary: I rent the house for my friends came from overseas,cause it's close to my house. Its a lovely little studio like granny flat. But my friends could not sleep at all had very loud machine noise outside come from the main house. And could not use the washing machine cause it's inside the owners house. So it's quite inconvient. They end up to change to another accomodation just waste the money. Quite disappointed.
