Summary: Great apartment and wonderful owners. Only two issues...Expedia needs to stop advertising laundry facilities. Also there are a large number of stairs to get to the apartment (minimum 3-4 flights.).

Summary: We had such a lovely stay at the Carpe Diem apartment. The room was spacious enough for 3 people and the little kitchen had everything we needed - pots, pans, microwave, cutlery, fridge, freezer etc. The apartment was very clean and tidy when we arrived and the instructions for the keys were very easy. Norbert and Karen were also very friendly over email and helped us with ensuring the payment had come through. The location is also quite central to the Black Forest region, so there’s lots to do within a 1 hour radius. Couldn’t be happier with this service!

Summary: The apartment was roomy, clean, quiet and well equipped. Unfortunately I had to climb four flights of stairs with my suitcase which was a struggle. Be prepared for that. Paying by wire in advance or cash for a 4 night stay upon arrival is a challenge. Credit cards really need to be an option. That being said, the apartment is very nice and in a lovely location. The female proprietor is friendly and nice.
