Positive: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage is situated, laid out and equipped very well; we liked the spacious bathroom and the small patio. (And also the beverages and the goodies:-)). The main "selling point" is the lake only about 200 m away and accessible at two different points for picknicking, sitting in the sun or in the shade, walking and swimming. (All of which we did.) The host family were away, but Fatima was completely available, helpful and caring via Mail and WhatsApp. Thank you, Fatima, for your concern and care and our friendly and personal exchange! The best to you and your family!

Negative: We could have used a small washing machine. We missed a light above the eating table and one at the bed. The exhaust hood did not work well. (The fire alarm all the better.) :-)

Positive: What makes this place special is the attention to detail and the hospitality of the owners. We spent the most magical midsummer with Ulf, his mom and the girls. We usually don’t go twice to the same place. This one is worth coming back to.

Positive: The cottage is charming and well equipped. It is placed in the countryside next to a beautiful lac. The surrounding are really beautiful. There is a small town 10 mn from it with restaurants or supermarkets.

Positive: The cottage is beautifully set in a picturesque countryside surrounded by a neat and green garden with a nice deck where we enjoyed breakfast. The kitchen and bathroom, as well as the rooms are well equipped with all you may need, thoughtfully designed to make you feel welcome. The rooms and outdoor settings were very clean. We used the bicycles for a ride and there is a lovely lake nearby where you can swim! The owners are definitely committed to make your experience a memorable one, Fatima & Ulf provided us great info about the area, places where we watched the best sunset, places to eat or to visit! We would definitely stay at Carpe Diem if visiting this part of Sweden again!

Positive: Our stay at the cottage was perfect. The accommodation is very nice, nicely furnished, comfortable and very clean. The host was very kind and ready to respond to our every request and need. In addition, the cottage is in a great location, very close to the sea, where you can relax, swim and even fish. We really hope to go back soon!

Positive: Outside of staying with family or friends, we have never experienced such a warm welcome. Fatima, Ulf, and their family are sincerely kind, friendly, and generous hosts who go beyond expectations to ensure guests' comfort. A refreshing lake with a small beach is nearby. It was great to be able to use the bicycles, too. We would certainly stay again at a property managed by Fatima.

Negative: Sweden in summertime is very light at night, which is lovely and fun but also makes it challenging to sleep if one is accustomed to darkness. Next time, I would bring an eye mask for sleeping.

Summary: It was mellow, peaceful, and comfortable--exactly what we were seeking for the vacation.
