Positive: I love the decoration of e very space because it makes it feel cozy. Also, the security was amazing, both the hostal and the neighbourhood felt really safe. Finally, everything was clean and it was nice to be provided of essentials like soap, shampoo and other commodities

Negative: I wish the place would have provided more activities or spaces to have cultural exchange with the people staying there

Positive: -All the staff were wonderful- Doreen, Finn and one of the evening volunteers (young Brazilian guy) in particular were kind and professional. -The facilities are excellent- quiet, calm, organized and clean. Rooms are spacious and bright. Decor is cheerful and fun. -The neighbourhood is lovely (Adams Morgan) and the hostel is located close to public transport and is easy to get to from Union Station. All the major attractions (ie. museums, galleries) are approximately 20-30 min away)

Negative: -I spent my final night in the 2-person dorm, and the atmosphere of that room was sort of awkward. For some reason it is the most expensive room but doesn't have a bathroom and is quite stuffy. It is also really strange bunking with one other stranger vs a room with 7 other strangers. -The neighbourhood can get a little rowdy at night as there are a lot of bars and clubs near by (but I guess some people would like this). Edit: unfortunately I am going to have to change my previous review. The price for that 2 person dorm was incredibly unreasonable considering you were sharing a bunk bed with a stranger. Almost $120 CAD for that one night of incredible discomfort. Also I never heard back from management with regards to a different matter so I don't feel that communication is great here.

Positive: Clean, nice decoration, a lot of toiletries available, good location

Negative: The bunk bed is three-leveled. I was assigned the highest one. Honestly it was too high. One of my hand slipped from the rails once when I was climbing down. Terrifying!
