Positive: We loved the view out of our upstairs room. This made the atmosphere of the room wonderful. Each morning we could watch and hear the many birds that gathered at the river. The room was very quiet and comfortable. We walked from the room to the beach in 5 minutes. We would definitely stay here again.

Negative: More regular coffee pods in the room. It was a bit odd that there was only the soaking tub and no real shower. Not sure that this was totally clear on the website. Next time, I would choose a room with a shower. Breakfast would have been nice since there were no restaurants in walking distance from the hotel. I also don't understand why our accommodation was so much more than the prices shown on booking very near to the time of our stay. I think it was a bit overpriced.

Positive: Very peaceful ! Enjoyed the surrounding nature watching the seals and sea otters and binoculars were provided. Nice shared kitchen area with coffee and light snacks. Would definitely recommend!

Positive: Nice hosts, charming property, and nice common areas. We even saw sea otters in the tidal creek behind the inn!

Negative: The traffic noise can be heard if you have the windows open on the land side rooms.

Positive: We love staying here because the views are amazing and the Sail Away room is so romantic!! So much wildlife to see. The innkeeper made us feel special by sharing a glass of bubbly with us when we arrived. Coffee in the room was delicious to sip as we gazed out the large windows at the view. We will definitely be back!

Negative: Only drawback is that there is not much to do that’s within walking distance.

Positive: Location is nice to get away from it all. 5 mins from Salinas River State Park. Landscape is nice.

Negative: Beds are very uncomfortable. No AC, no wall unit, and the provided plug in fan would not run more than 30 secs.
