Positive: The family room with jacuzzi is really big. Beautiful surroundings. Nice pool and heated pool, very relaxing. People that work there are very sweet and helpful. Great breakfast.

Negative: Place os rustic, all doors and windows are wood so insects will get through. For the price l expected an air conditioner or fan, but there is none. Location is really far from Ouro Preto, 30 min drive. Restaurant on site not open during the week. They need to change the sheets and covers, they are in really bad shape.

Positive: I loved that it covered a large area, that there were lots of different buildings, that there was a large garden with plenty places to sit and relax. I loved that there were two swimming pools and that one of them was really warm. I liked the rustic feel and my bedroom was spacious with a large bathroom. It was great to have a restaurant onsite (the buttered vegetables were delicious) and I was very happy that I could bring my dog. The breakfast was good and in a nice building.

Negative: Although it was good to have a restaurant onsite, the food took a long time to be prepared. It took an hour and a half for lunch to arrive when we were the only ones being served! I wasn’t woken up, but I know that other guests were woken at 4am by the roosters onsite! Although it was good to have a ping pong table onsite, it had seen better days and so we gave up quickly trying to play as both balls, bats and table were warped!

Summary: Great place to relax, unwind and was good value for money as had many facilities and was comfortable.

Negative: Towels were old and overly used, there was no blow dryer in the bathrooms.
