Summary: We had previously notified the hotel prior to our stay that we had some frozen seafood that we would want placed in the freezer when we arrived. At our arrival we gave this seafood to the front desk personnel to be placed in a freezer and they said they would take care of it for us no problem. In the morning when we checked out and were kinda in a bit of a rush as we had a flight to catch we waited for 10 minutes for this frozen food to be returned to us, we asked for it a second time and were told it would be here soon. After another 5 minutes it was given to us. It was obvious by its state of partial frozenness and slightly cool insulated bag it was in that the stuff had been packaged in had been placed in a refrigerator not a freezer. In the future we will not be booking this particular hotel.

Summary: The onsite restaurant “Jacks” was pretty good although service was a bit slow. The room was okay but the bed frame was flimsy which meant the mattress moved every time you moved! We reported a problem with the shower head at 9am on our first morning and it had not been fixed when we checked out 2 days later!!☹️

Summary: We spent three nights at the Capital Hotel while in St Johns. We found our room comfortable and the location very convenient. It is close to the mall, numerous restaurants as well. The hotel does have a restaurant that always seemed busy. Which is a good sign. We found parking easy and the hotel staff extremely helpful.

Summary: Very clean and comfortable. Ordered extra towels and cups and they delivered to our door. Quiet but we were not on the highway side so hard to say if you are on that side.
