Positive: We had a great 4-night stay at this Midlands cottage. The space was comfortable, spacious, and clean, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The peaceful surroundings added to the overall experience, and the cottage was well laid out and thoughtfully maintained. A lovely place for a restful getaway.

Negative: A few aspects could be improved. The cottage did not have air conditioning, which made it uncomfortable at times, even though fans were provided. There there was only one shower, which was challenging for a group.A mid-stay cleaning service, especially after the third day, would have been appreciated. While there was a broom, mop, and dustpan available, there were no cleaning detergents or proper equipment provided, making it difficult to maintain cleanliness during a longer stay. Overall, it is a lovely property with great potential, and with a few added amenities, it would be an even more comfortable.

Positive: Hosts were very accommodating, when we thought we had an issue with the inverter, it was no problem for them to come out and sort out. We did managed to resolve it quickly before they arrived so they did not need to come out, but there was no issue in them being happy to come out and attend to it in the first place. So, thank you.

Negative: Received a message after we had left to please make sure dishes are washed, which we could not do as we had left. However, I feel that guests should not be asked to wash the dishes before they leave, it could be a bit of a dampener on the holiday experience.

Summary: Lovely place for a sort stop over or holiday. Close to Nottingham Road which is very convenient.
