Positive: We spent 10 days at Cape Away on Samui in January. The prices are very reasonable and attractive for this kind of accommodation and service. We were really lucky! Location The location is excellent—about 45 minutes from the airport in the evening traffic. There are great restaurants and bars nearby, and it’s just a 15-minute walk to the main street with a supermarket, pharmacies, etc. Beach The hotel has its own private beach, and it’s beautiful, with a stunning view. Everything is very clean, the sand is soft, and the water is perfect. Sun loungers and towels are provided, and you can order food and drinks from the restaurant. There’s also beach massage available. It’s quiet and peaceful, with very few people around. Nearby there’s a “wild” part of the beach with amazing sunset views. Accommodation Everything is brand new—the place opened recently. There are several villas in the complex, all with great views. Inside you’ll find everything you need, including a large (!) refrigerator and microwave. Hairdryer, clothes steamer, air conditioning, and TV are all there. Special mention to the smart toilet ;) Outside, there’s a private yard with a swing and your own jacuzzi. Housekeeping is daily. Food Fantastic, varied food at the on-site restaurant. Delicious breakfast is included in the room rate, and everything else is discounted. The food is very tasty and filling. Prices are very affordable. A great bonus is that you can order food directly to your bungalow, and the staff can even prepare something off-menu on request, including healthy meals. We had dinner every evening with a sea view—there were beach performances, live drumming, and music. But everything gets quiet after 10 PM! If you want more variety, there are a few more good restaurants within a 20-minute walk. Service and Staff The staff are super welcoming, kind, and friendly. They respond quickly to any request and are very helpful. Their English is decent.

Positive: We had an amazing stay at this hotel and truly loved every moment. The location is unreal, with a stunning beach and a very peaceful atmosphere. Everything is exceptionally clean. The villa, the pool, and the entire territory are perfectly maintained. The staff are absolutely incredible. Friendly, caring, and always ready to help. When I got sick during our stay, the team immediately provided medicine, helped organize a taxi to the hospital, advised where to go, and genuinely took great care of me. The restaurant and beach bar near the hotel offer delicious food at very good prices. The Thai cuisine is outstanding, and there is also a nice selection of international dishes. We also loved the New Year’s event. There was a nice buffet, a great atmosphere, and a romantic setup right on the beach. The traditional Thai dance performed by the staff was especially beautiful and made the evening truly memorable ❤️ The hotel is perfect for couples and families, with a beautiful area, a great pool, and a very warm, welcoming feeling. The level of service is truly five-star.

Negative: One small suggestion for improvement would be to clearly indicate on the beach that the sunbeds are reserved for hotel guests only. At the moment, there is no visible sign, so other people sometimes use them and then are asked to leave by the staff. This can create unnecessary stress for both guests and employees.

Positive: The staff was truly amazing — kind, hardworking, calm, and never confrontational. They helped with everything that was requested, and there was quite a lot 😊. They willingly provided every possible mosquito-repellent solution, which resulted in very few bites. After the reservation was made, the villa names were changed and all were labeled “sea view,” although only one actually has a real sea view. It was therefore clear that despite paying extra for a sea view, it would not be provided — which was ultimately the case. The matter was not pursued after arrival due to lack of energy. The beach was very enjoyable. On one day, trash (plastic bottles and other waste) washed ashore, clearly dumped elsewhere. Guests voluntarily cleaned it up, filling the resort’s trash bins. The massage was excellent. Dining was experienced both at the hotel restaurant and a nearby one, with the nearby restaurant being preferred. The bathroom felt somewhat cave-like, while the rooms were clean, beds and linens comfortable, and drinking water provided daily. Breakfast was excellent. The resort would benefit from gradual renovation, but overall, even at a higher price point, it can be recommended.

Positive: We absolutely loved this boutique hotel! The property is made up of beautifully designed private villas, most with a spacious bedroom, cozy living room, and a private patio with an outdoor jacuzzi and seating area. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered – from the stylish décor and wine fridge to Japanese toilets and TVs in both rooms. The villas surround a pool that overlooks the sea, right at the edge of a nearly private and perfect beach. The location is fantastic – just a short walk to excellent restaurants and massage places. The staff were exceptional: warm, attentive, and truly dedicated to making our stay special. The breakfast was delicious. We can’t wait to come back!

Positive: I frequently go to Samui for the next door bootcamp FITKOH. And the this is the first time I stay at Cape Vila as it has been a year since they opened. From the moment I booked my bungalow at Cape Villa resort Samui till the moment I left, I was handled by a professional and warm team. They reached out to ensure that they will ensure a car pickup at the airport. I arrived into this warm, cozy, and white spot of a small land of 12 white color with the Bambu touches and vegetation surrounding with a beachfront. It naturally integrated with its surrounding. You are surrounded by an amazingly friendly and helpful team members who are constantly there to offer assistance. The amazing owner - lady Khun Noi - is talented and lucky in selecting those amazing team members. They are led by impressive manager “Krisi”, who is Always there to ensure my breakfast request is met, transportation are provided, beach clubs are arranged, room cleaned and ordered on time, and questions are answered. That could not have been effectively and successfully accomplished without the execution of the remaining team of the lovely housekeeper team - Phyuly, Phyu Phyu, Nanda, Ma myint - pool and beach staff - Wine, Aung - and the major team at the restaurant - manager Nook and the team Chirs, pai and others that I don’t have their name. Try the breakfast that is amazing and the food at the amazing dishes at their beach restaurant and bar. Cape Vila Beach resort’s simplicity a secluded location, though not isolated, makes it my beautiful second home for in Samui. See you soon.
