Summary: Had a slight problem when we got there but management took care of it instantly and we ended up having a great weekend. The ducks, the geese, the herons and the woodpeckers really add to the aesthetics of the lake property. Will be back definitely, management was incredibly friendly and helpful. Awesome little hidden gem of Rapid City.

Summary: It's not the Waldorf Astoria but that wasn't the intent. If you're looking for a clean friendly stay in a beautifully walkable setting this is it. Apart from the somewhat dated accomodations (hey, it was a tad rustic but it evoked pleasant feelings of nostalgia for this 60-something boomer) I couldn't have asked for a quiter room nestled on the shore of a beautiful lake (well, reservoir) and park. Plus we had the added benefit of being there outside of the tourist season. I'll be back.

Summary: The view is beautiful but the room was very dated. I won't return to this property again. No amenities, old building (look and feel). High step into the room without a hand rail and one key.

Summary: The service was exceptional! Deb was wonderful. The “cabins” however were tired, and had an odd smell to them. I will say they were clean. A couple of hooks in the bathroom would be a nice addition.
