Positive: The accommodation was clean and it was nice and quiet with all pitches facing away from the road each with a little garden.

Negative: The swimming pool was not open despite it being 30 degrees. The staff responded it doesn’t open until summer, this was 30th and 31st May. Nowhere at all did it say on booking.com or in the confirmation emails that the pool would be closed. So we had 2 very sad and disappointed little ones who had been hugely looking forward to our ‘night at the water park’ it’s also a bit of a pain that you have to pay extra for bedding even when in one of the chalets

Summary: Overall nice campsite but communication and openness about the facilities could be better

Positive: The tent was well equipped and clean, we found it most enjoyable and had a bbq with the outdoor stove. The bed was comfy and the outdoor space was so peaceful just listening to the trees. Easy walk into town for the Carrefore supermarket. Reception was very friendly and the free indoor pool was nice for a swim. The outdoor pool was not open when we were there in May. Nice location by the river.

Negative: There is a strict code for swimwear in the pool, no tankinis or shorts. The nearest toilets to us were closed so it was a long walk to the toilet which had the thinnest of toilet paper, however they were very clean.

Positive: The location is beautiful, very green

Negative: We had to pay a 30% extra with respect to the booking price, after the reservation. Maybe it was indicated somewhere during the reservation process, but i didn't see it so eventually the stay become much more expensive than what originally planned.
