Summary: Staff at check-in not particularly helpful or friendly, nor interested in providing additional information as I looked for my room. Additional signage would be helpful for rooms in the cottage as I had difficulty finding my room (I was told it was the Rachel Suite, but the room was indicated as "317" as was the key fob. Didn't care for the food; heavy on the fats (bacon, sausage, whipped cream) and not healthy. More fruit would be beneficial as would be a new recipe for the scones (they're not at all appealing). Room was very clean but they should consider "bulk" shampoo/conditioner/body wash instead of providing small/individual use bottles.

Summary: Stay here for a truly terrific breakfast. Also the gardens are lovey... Depending on the season hope you have time to sit outside (indoor public space nice too) to sip a glass of comp afternoon wine and enjoy a cookie. For our stay, breakfast started with a fruit cup and scone followed by a very tasty breakfast (two choices offered). Lovely friendly staff. The B&B has appr 20 rooms of diff configurations. We had picked a small room that is perfectly fine if you don't need much space, bathroom was good sized. Have to keep windows shut due to nearby trains tooting loudly during the night. Rooms have AC. Would very much stay here again and recommend if you like historical buildings and great breakfasts.

Summary: Everything was wonderful - from our room to the staff to the breakfast. They were all so accommodating (both myself and partner are vegan). Would definitely stay there again.

Summary: The staff was great during check in, breakfast, and check out. The breakfast was among the best at any bed & breakfast type of establishment (essentially how I'd classify this inn). The main house was built in 1892, and although upgrades have been made, there are some remnants of the original construction, so guests need to be aware of that and understand not to expect modern construction. The inn is located in a somewhat rundown and old residential area of Eugene, but this property is the best maintained lot in the neighborhood, and is located on the periphery of that neighborhood, adjacent to the commercial district. However, we'd highly recommend this inn if your travels take you to Eugene. For lunch and dinner, several restaurants are within walking distance (walking is recommended if you're able to walk 10-15 minutes each way). We would not hesitate to stay here again. Much more of an experience than the big chain hotels.

Summary: I had to be in Eugene for business for an overnight. My usual choices were priced ridiculously high, so I saw this property. The smaller queen sized room was in my personal budget, so I decided what the heck. I was SO glad I did! Making the turn into the property was a bit of a challenge, but once I figured it out it was all good. The grounds are meticulously manicured. Check in was very cordial. I learned my booked room had a broken AC that was being fixed, so they upgraded me to a MUCH larger room! You also get a complimentary glass of wine as well. I took time to sit out in their lush grounds, have my wine and watch a family of wild turkeys stroll right by me-babies and all. It was surreal. The room was fabulous-comfortable and spacious. Breakfast in the morning is a REAL sit down breakfast, with two choices plus a scone and fruit. I am fan, and will definitely return on future trips.
