Positive: Absolutely charming duplex, perfect for cold seasons. We arrived and the heating and chimney were already on and we were instantly incredibly warm. Apart from the (very frequent and very nearby) church bells, the area was really calm and quiet. Above all, what makes this place special is the profound attention to detail; everything we might possibly want or need was planned ahead and could be found exactly where you’d first look for it. Not only did we immediately feel at home, but we truly felt like this duplex was “made for us”, and if the following night wasn’t already booked, we never would have left !

Negative: Since both the chimney and the central heating were on, we were a bit overwhelmed by the drastic change in temperature and it was difficult to accommodate. We turned the heating off and let the chimney die, but it kept emitting heat for a very long time, and the sofa happens to be directly facing the chimney, so sitting there for too long wasn’t an option, and ventilating was complicated too since the outside world was at 1°C. Another thing is that during the first shower we quickly ran out of hot water, but it could be related to turning off the central heating.

Summary: Cosy, warm and peaceful escape from the outside world.

Positive: Very quiet and Cosy place. The apartment is in a small village but has everything you need. We could relax and hike, which is exactly why we came. Thanks.

Negative: Nothing, except you could hear the church bells. However, we were aware of it an could arrange ourself with it. So no problem
