Summary: Very spacious room and bathroom. Windows in both the room and the bathroom allowed natural light and fresh air. Very clean, looked recently updated. Plenty of towels. Really comfortable pillows and bed. Extra blanket provided. Warm welcome by owners. Cleaning staff very friendly and helpful. Laundry and ice available on premises. Quiet area yet close to many things.

Summary: The rooms were very nice and impeccably clean. The staff were also very welcoming and friendly. The grounds were well taken care of, great wifi, comfortable beds, and overall the place was nicer than what often pops to one's mind with the word "motel." That said, we did have some significant issues during our stay. The first night we had no hot water. They fixed this the next morning so not a huge deal, and I wouldn't even mention it if we didn't have another significant issue. We were there during a heat wave and the third (last) day the a/c wasn't working well, so our room was around 90 degrees when we got back for the night. This is a family-run motel so I get that staff isn't reachable after 9pm. However, having no on-call maintenance line meant that neither of our issues could be addressed until the next day, so our first night was spent going to bed feeling grimey after all day in the car, and our last night was spent sleepless due to malfunctioning a/c. Even the ability to get a fan would have made a huge difference. I did alert the staff about the a/c when we checked out, and while they said they would look into it, there was no offer of a partial refund or anything like that. For a motel room that was over $100/night, I was a bit surprised that there was no attempt to make things right, given that we didn't have basics for 2 out of our 3 nights.

Summary: It is sometimes hard to reach the owner at the desk or on the phone as she is working alone through most of the day. When my TV went "off line" suddenly one afternoon. They answered the phone line and the husband got it fixed - with wifes help. Not having a breakfast meal or even a snack is "unusual " . Only one restaurant within one KM to get breakfast.

Summary: Wonderful motel. The staff was friendly and super helpful with dining suggestions and things to do and see. Close to most of what you need. Nice picnic/sitting area. Laundry at motel. Would stay are again.

Summary: Our room was nicely decorated to modern standards and was extremely clean. The bed was too soft for my comfort but that's my issue not the establishment's. The owners were very friendly - typical Maritimers - and made suggestions for things to do in the area. We would definitely stay here again.

Summary: This place is a real find, amazing value for money. We stayed at a number of different places on our trip and this was every bit as good as those which cost twice as much. The room was a good size, really clean with great amenities. The owners were on site and were really lovely and helpful.
