Negative: Kitchen/dining area was too small so had to sit in bedrooms probably our own fault should have read the description more thoroughly.

Positive: Location, quality of lodge, Sandra an excellent host, the grounds are stunning, perfect for weekend/short breaks. Would defo stay again

Negative: Kitchenette takes a bit of getting used to. Be hard not to have a lounge if weather bad during a long stay but easily doable

Positive: Very clean, lovely accommodation which was a great size for the two of us. Good kitchen facilities, beautiful surroundings with lots of wildlife and friendly host and cat. Sandra was very professional, friendly and helpful even letting us extend our stay. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Negative: You can hear the traffic from the motorway nearby when you’re outside

Positive: Lovely property with very attractive grounds . Cottage spotless and dressed beautifully . Bathrooms excellent . Owners very welcoming . There were a couple of things though that Sandra and Richard might consider . See below: 1 . Work surface over fridge to place kettle etc on 2. Separate mirrors in each bedroom for when bathroom one steams up and you need to do your hair or makeup 3. Technically cottage is for 4 , but very hard for the four to comfortably sit and chat together ….suggest a neat corner sofa where the current sofa is .

Negative: Having the kettle, coffee machine on top of fridge not really a good combination as possibility of water spillage with busy” electrics immediately behind fridge …

Summary: Cadnam Lodge - a cut above but with a few tweaks, brilliant !

Positive: Very nice grounds, absolutely beautiful. Rooms very nice and clean, comfortable

Negative: In the kitchen were only 2 chairs although we were 4 people, so struggled to sit down for breakfast and there is also no lounge or sofa. It was a problem with the WiFi too, very slow or non existent at times
