Positive: Room is fantastic. Castle's decoration worthy of museum, and furniture on point. Service also very good and welcoming.
Negative: The way the breakfast is handled (even tho it is super nice). 3.50 for an extra coffee without clear indication from staff or to at least offer the multiple option feels weird.

Positive: Breakfast was very good. Olde world charm of place. Beautiful grounds and outside dining area. Waitress Kaitlyn was very friendly and chatty. Excellent hotel for weddings Stayed 2 nights in room within one of six lodges, located 3 minutes walk from hotel - competitively-priced.
Negative: Staff were ok. Reception staff - before asking if we had ever stayed at hotel before, rather first words were to tell us price and that payment would be necessary up front. Evening meal - satisfactory but service very slow, despite having no less than 6 different staff members coming to our table asking about drinks, etc Location - poor.

Positive: I thought the fresh fruit was very limited to melon and pineapple ,which were cut in rather large chunks . I would have expected a wider range of fruit
Negative: It was difficult to access the plug behind the bedside locker in order to recharge my phone . Had to move the locker to get at the plug . Maybe there were other plugs more accessible but I didn’t see them
Summary: A lovely stay helped by the glorious weather and very helpful staff
