cozy cabin with guest cottage nestled next to the flowing year round creek, perfect for a family getaway or a chance to relax, recharge, and commune with nature. BBQ on the deck while listening the sound of the creek flowing.
Guest will have access to the main cabin and the guest cottage.
Guest amenities
Sleeping: both bedrooms include a queen-size bed , there is two queen pull out beds in the living room and the upstairs loft has two additional queen size pull out beds, the separate cottage has a large couch pull out which sleeps two additional quests comfortably.
Kitchen: includes pots, pans, plates, cups, knifes, silverware, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, stove coffee maker both K cups and a filtered coffee maker (filters are there)
Bathroom: includes a bath and shower combo basic amenities toilet paper is provided with extra in the hallway closet.
Bedrooms 1 and 2: include sheets, bedding and pillows there is additional 8 pillows in the closet and sheets and one blankets for each pull out bed, if in the colder season and plan on using all the beds I would bring a few extra:)
Detached Cottage: includes bathroom, fridge, and pull out bed but there is no kitchen, there is a wall heater and bathroom heater, a TV and DVD player.
Additional amenities: There is WIFI but it is not the best you can operate your phone, google search, e-mail, make wifi calls and text messages, there is a total 5 TV's and 5 DVD players, there is about 60 movies that you can watch located in the upstairs loft, in the wood chest in the loft there is some bored games, cards, and dice. The living room fireplace is gas but there is additional heaters for rooms and fans if needed in hallway closet.
Outdoor Amenities: 1 propane BBQ and one Charcoal BBQ, Propane will be full but we do not have charcoal up there. there is couch and chair with cushions for setting outside and 4 additional Charis on deck extra chairs are located in the detached cottage closet.

Summary: Upon our arrival, we had a hard time parking our truck with small trailer and our suburban. The parking space does not accommodate for big vehicles. Upon entering the cabin, we found ourselves with a few issues. The cabin is too small to accommodate 12 people. There was only sitting for 8 at the dining table and made it very hard for our group of 12 adults. The toilet seat in the main cabin was broken. This made it very hard to use since the seat moved constantly side to side. With 12 people, having to go to the other bathroom in the smaller cabin 90% of our stay which made it difficult specially at night. Also the smaller cabin bathroom water heater did not work. We were not informed of this until we arrived to the cabin by a letter on the table. This caused us delays every morning because we had to wait for 12 people to shower one at a time. Very frustrating to say the least. Also the sofa bed located in the loft area was broken. We found this out later the first night when opening it. So two of the group members had to sleep on the floor. None of the above problems were stated when renting the cabin. The only issue we were informed about was the water heater, with the letter left on the table. We were very disappointed about not being informed of these issues prior to our renting the property. Also the reception is not reliable. We were unable to text or call anyone that included the property manager. I was finally able to text him when we left the property.

Summary: Everything was perfect. Cabin and guest cabin clean and the location on point. Just the walkway to the guest cabin as well to the creek was a little difficult, other than that I had a great time with my family.

Summary: This was such a beautiful area to stay in, a small little town, very peaceful and just what we were hoping for. The cabin was very clean, comfortable, and tastefully decorated. We loved the stream in the back, and were able to take some family walks around the area. I did have to ask a question of the owners once there and they were very quick to respond. We would stay here again and really enjoyed every moment of our stay.

Summary: This place is beautiful! It was better than expected. The property is right by the creek and has a wonderful space for getting together with family for a relaxing stay. The area is picturesque, quaint and charming. The owner was easy to contact and was very accommodating. The little guest house is very cute and was just a few feet away from the main. No complaints. Sheets and bedding were nice and clean. Rooms were nice and clean. Kitchen area had all we needed for cooking and grilling outside. I can see how it could be muddy in the winter time. We stayed in June but during a time when it rained a little one of the days. The driveway can be a little muddy and slick so just be aware of that as it slopes down perfectly so that you can park right in front of the cabin. Enjoyable and highly recommend!

Summary: We needed a place for our family to stay while attending the annual Glennville Rodeo and just happened to find this cozy cabin that could sleep our children and grandchildren for a few days. It was the perfect spot. Two bedrooms and pullout sofas in the loft and living room was more than enough for us. Not to mention the additional cottage on the property with an extra bathroom and refrigerator where our daughter and son-in-law stayed. The large deck runs along the side and back of the cabin overlooking the rushing creek below. It was truly a wonderful weekend.

Summary: The location is remote and picturesque as described. It is homey and comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend except for two things which isn’t bad. One is small and easily fixed-ceiling fan blades cleaned. Second is possible but requires a bit more. The driveway. It only holds two cars which we didn’t know and when muddy or snowy is next to impossible to get out of especially if you didn’t back down the big hill. Had we understood more about what we were working with we wouldn’t have had to spend three hours of our weekend trying to get unstuck from the mud. Parking is sparse on the street so if you only have two vehicles and they put gravel or something down the weekend will be amazing. If it weren’t for those two things then it would have been an amazingly perfect weekend. But even with those two things it was still wonderful. We laughed about the being stuck after the fact and how muddy we all got and the fan I just closed my eyes lol. I would definitely recommend this place and would for sure stay there again. I’d just be more prepared this time with the information I now know.

Summary: This cabin had everything we needed for our Christmas weekend stay. It was very cozy, and the sound of the creek in the back was very calming., there was a bit of snow, and the kids had an amazing time. Overall would book again. Laura and Darrell have an amazing cabin in the middle of the woods and have everything needed for a great stay.
