Summary: Cabin on the Wind property was better than advertised! It was only a few feet from the Wind River where my husband fly fished while I led a photography workshop. Our host Q made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The cabin was well stocked, the sheets smell so fresh and there are extra blankets, fun table games, cooking spices and plenty of bath towels. Full size refrigerator, BBQ, sufficient heat throughout. No television but excellent WiFi for internet access. Only a short drive to town. The wildlife visited everyday! Mountain cottontail, mule deer, waterfowl and more. A very pleasant stay and will return! Highly recommended. Thanks Q!

Summary: This is one of my all time favorite places to stay. Gorgeous, well thought out. Beautiful and Q was just awesome. We loved it.

Summary: Cabin was clean, warm, and ready to settle in when I arrived. Lots of essentials available if needed. Close to nature/wilderness trails and the small town of Duboise. It's a great escape from normal life.

Summary: The owner was very pleasant and helpful with the check in process. He built the cabin and it is remarkable! Enjoyed beautiful night skies, relaxing on the deck and fishing in the river. Excellent location for going to area attractions!! Highly recommend.

Summary: The location of this cabin was far enough away from town to be quiet, but close enough to get in and out quickly. We also loved the front porch and sat out quite often. It was a lovely location.

Summary: We stayed in Q's cabin as part of our hiking vacation. The location was awesome, the cabin was cute, and the mattresses were great (which is important when you are hiking!). It was so peaceful sleeping to the sound of the river, and on clear nights, the stars were amazing. By far the best thing about this property besides the location is the host! Q is so welcoming and friendly, and even offered to build our firepit fire for us! We had everything we needed and felt sure that if we didn't, Q would provide it. If we should return to Dubois, we would certainly want to stay in this cabin again!

Summary: The property was beautiful and well-kept. The cabin was extremely clean and was small but well laid out. Q was an amazing and welcoming host. He welcomed the kids playing on the zip line and swing even though they were basically in the front yard of his home on the property. The cabin was a bit closer to the host’s home than I expected but we still felt we had great privacy with a beautiful deck that faced directly to the Wind river. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was great and the kitchen had everything we needed. Wifi signal was great at the cabin. Q had fantastic suggestions for local things to do and our whole family agreed Dubois and specifically this property were amazing and definitely worth another visit!
