Our cottages are the perfect place to get out of town for a quiet retreat. Whether you are in town for a football game (only 9.5 miles to Bryant Denny Stadium), or looking for a retreat from everyday life; our cottage has what you need.
This 2-bedroom cottage sleeps up to 11 so you can bring your whole family. The cottage has a master downstairs with a king bed and huge walk in shower bath. The upstairs has a bedroom with 2 queen sized beds, a loft with a queen bed and a built in twin bunk bed. There is a separate bathroom located upstairs. Also under the staircase there is a twin /sleeping area for the 11 person.
We built this property as a place to take in the beauty of farm-life. You can enjoy access to our lakes, hiking trails, and our beautiful patio space overlooking the lake in front of the cottage.

Our guest can enjoy fishing on Goose Pond or taking a hike on one of the 5 nature trails. Snuggle up to a cozy fire overlooking the pond. Hike to the Honey Hole Lake and relax at Angelina’s Haven in hopes of seeing Bo, the majestic bald Eagle who lives on the property.

Summary: This was one of the best rental homes I have ever stayed in! First of all, the house is situated within a beautiful property that includes hiking trails and a lake. Not only was the house extremely clean, but it was also very tastefully decorated and well equipped. The owners, very thoughtfully, left a beautiful bouquet of wildflowers along with homemade zucchini bread and barbecue sauce as a welcome gift. The kitchen was equipped with everything that you could ever need to cook (which is unusual for rental houses). They had an assortment of laundry detergents, extra toothbrushes, a variety of shampoos, etc. Every person in our group commented on how supremely comfortable the beds were. All of these thoughtful details made for the best rental experience I’ve had to date. We look forward to returning!

Summary: We absolutely loved the property. We explored both lakes, had fun fishing, making s'mores visiting the horses and running around with the sweet dog on the property. The house was beautifully put together and had everything we could have needed which was such a treat. We hope to be back again soon!

Summary: We truly enjoyed our time at Pappy's Place. It was peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful. The place is very welcoming and has every amenity you could need. So much thought was put into everything from the porch and reading nook to the kitchen and mudroom. Linens and towels are plentiful, comfortable, and of great quality. The property was beautiful. The only thing we were missing was more time.

Summary: This Cabin was outstanding in every single aspect! Impeccably furnished, comfortable bedding, fully stocked kitchen and welcome basket! The grounds are stunning and so peaceful. We regret that we didn’t have more time in our schedule to enjoy the ranch and hikes more and visit with the owners as it is obvious they are outstanding people! We will 100 percent stay here again in the future!
