Positive: The cabin is definitely old school but met all our necessities for our family. It was 8 of us and we all fit comfortably. Right in Dixie Forest! Definitely lots of trees and outdoorsy feel. We loved the fire pit outside and the deck was beautiful, along with the fire pit they even had those fork things for placing things over the fire outside. Inside were games and books and a TV just in case anyone felt home sick lol. A full fridge, stove, salt, pepper, pans, cutting board, mugs etc for us who enjoy a home cooked meal! A coffee maker either pods or hot water pot! It was a nice change from the city life.

Negative: ⚠️Heads up, the road to get there is a wild ride!⚠️ Drive safe, keep speed limit, you will be ok! Cabin needs a little more TLC, we know it's outdoors so bugs and flies are expected but maybe items inside available for use against bugs, spiders, flies etc like fly swatters or bug spray repellent or even natural remedies. All just suggestions. For the ladies, maybe even a few emergency sanitary pads or tampons. Life happens! The cleaning crew could do a little better. We noticed some cobwebs and dead flies. Nonetheless, we do appreciate their efforts and all of the available cleaning supplies!

Positive: The location was really good for hikes off the Burr Trail Rd. We also appreciated all the good cooking tools available in the kitchen. This is a very rural area and so expectations have to include the reality of that. The Burr Trail was absolutely spectacular so we were happy to come back to this property tired and ready to make our own dinner. There are several exceptional restaurants in the area if you would rather.

Negative: Instructions for getting TV and DVD to work.

Positive: Very remote and quiet. close to the very beautiful overlooks that provide excellent opportunity to see milky way

Negative: there is no mobile service and if you do not have stored lock code ahead of time you can't enter the property. luckily we knocked on the neighbors door and they told us where the owner lives. we went to owner and asked for a code.

Summary: overall we had a wonderful stay.

Positive: It was perfect for the stay we planned. Evolve was exceptional helping us change dates. Jim the host answered every question I had.

Positive: Close to everything too day trip. But so nice and quiet to return to. We made a fire and watched the moon rise.

Negative: place was not real clean. one of bedrooms had hair on pillow case. very dusty. had small issue and could not get ahold of anybody to help. never stayed in place I had to carry out my trash. that not really an issue if you are in a car or truck but it becomes an issue if your vehicle has limited space like a motorcycle.
