Positive: I can’t say enough about The Roost. I booked last-minute on a Sunday morning, knowing I needed to be close to my dad so I could get him to the ER quickly. This little haven, just 10 minutes away, turned out to be an absolute gift. From the moment I pulled into the gated property, I felt safe, peaceful, and cared for. The entire place is spotless, every corner thoughtfully maintained with an incredible eye for detail. You can tell the owners pour their heart into this place, and it shows in everything from the charming decor to the happy chickens wandering the grounds. But what truly sets The Roost apart is the compassion and kindness of the owners. In a moment when I was stressed and emotionally drained, they made me feel held. That kind of human warmth is rare, and I’ll never forget it. If you’re looking for a place that’s not only beautiful and serene but run by genuinely good people, this is it.

Positive: The Roost Cabins was such an awesome place! Very well maintained, super cute roost with the chickens and even a couple turkeys. The cabin was clean and comfortable and had everything we could think of! Brendan was such an amazing host, friendly and gave great suggestions on where to eat and visit in the area! The location is perfect, walking distance to some fun venues yet still tucked away and quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be back! Be sure to check out the game room! Great for groups, couples or even a singles get away! We loved it, thanks Brendan!
