Positive: It really is the most beautiful location on the whole island. The property is really well designed to make it feel so cozy and in harmony with the nature. All the materials are so well thought. Traditional chic. It is in our top list of the accomodations we ever stayed. We want to say special thanks to mr. Kevin! The service and hospitality is incredible and exceptional. Also thanks to the rest of the team for the hospitality and really kind service! Hopefully we will be back one day…

Positive: The service was seamless, breakfast was fabulous, the grounds were excellent and the location was second to none on the island. Our only regret was not leaving ourselves enough time to relax at the retreat and enjoy it. It’s about 20 minutes from Catba town, but we liked having the serenity of the hotel while still being just a short grab ride away.

Shoutout to Minh who gave us the most wonderful experience for the cooking course, and also the the chef on the day, we loved it and had so much fun with you both.

Positive: We had the most amazing stay at Cabalina Retreat - the accommodations, staff, and amenities are truly spectacular and so different. We booked a boat and trekking tour through the hotel, and our guide, Tran, made the experience unforgettable. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the region and its history - there wasn’t a single question he couldn’t answer. We couldn’t imagine visiting Catba island with any other guide. Highly recommend both the hotel and touring the bay and natural park with Tran!

Positive: From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality. Every member of the team was friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The resort itself exceeded my expectations and truly delivered a five-star experience. My room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed. One of my favorite features was the stunning bathroom, which had an open, tropical feel that made every shower feel like a peaceful outdoor retreat. The infinity pool was another highlight—crystal clear, refreshing, and the perfect place to relax after spending the day exploring Cat Ba Island. I also had several meals at the resort's restaurant, and every dish was excellent. Breakfast, in particular, was delicious, with plenty of fresh and flavorful options to start the day. The staff also helped me rent a motorbike, which turned out to be one of the best ways to discover the island. Riding around Cat Ba felt much more relaxed and less hectic than navigating the traffic in Vietnam's larger cities, making it easy to explore at my own pace before returning to the resort to unwind. I honestly couldn't have asked for a better stay. Everything was thoughtfully arranged, the service was exceptional, and the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to completely disconnect and recharge. I would happily recommend Cabalina Resort to anyone visiting Cat Ba Island, and I'll definitely stay here again the next time I'm back in Vietnam.

The room was beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, and both the pool and restaurant exceeded my expectations. After nearly a month of traveling through Vietnam, I can honestly say this was one of the best restaurants I experienced during the entire trip. The food was fresh, flavorful, and consistently excellent. What made the stay truly memorable, though, was the Cabalina team. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming throughout my visit. Whether it was restaurant service, room service, transportation, or simply helping with recommendations, they always went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable.
