Positive: Liz and José, the owners, make you feel at home the moment you walk in. We loved the outside kitchen and the hike with José. The place is close to the main street.

Positive: Jose and Liz were fantastic hosts. Very caring and helping us with every question and need we had, big thanks for that! The rooms were clean and very charmingly situated. There is a big outdoor kitchen that we could use as well. We would definitely come back.

Positive: This was our favorite place to stay during our entire visit to Panama! The view is spectacular, the cabaña was adorable and clean, and we absolutely LOVED the hosts. They patiently helped us practice our Spanish and were so helpful as we explored the area.

Negative: You might consider bringing your own pillow if you need one that's more firm.

Positive: Owners were hospitable, helpful. They had been there only 2 plus months, and aware that much needed attention. If you are okay with a rustic, very simple place, this is it. There is an outdoor kitchen area that all guests are welcome to use. We appreciate the simplicity and homey feel, but if you are used to city living and amenities, it will be a difficult stay.

Negative: Size of the little apartment was fine - separate bedroom from living area. Furniture was old, but clean. One small table and 2 dining chairs in kitchen/living area. Coffee maker, cups and saucers, sugar supplied. We had brought our own ground coffee. Bed was comfortable. Towels were fresh and newer. Bed linens were clean but worn. hot water only in the shower. In general, the whole place needs upgrading.

Summary: Enjoyed our stay because of the hospitality of the owners, but the place needs much improvement.

Positive: Liz is wonderful! She goes out of her way to meet my needs. Very clean and the bed is comfortable. They have hot water in the shower. The kitchen is available for guests to use.
